The IEEE 2007 Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS2007) will be held in • Multimedia: Multidimensional Signal Processing; Multimedia Analysis; Multimedia Coding and Transmission; Machine Vision and Intelligence; Medical Applications. • Network and Communication: Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO); Cognitive and Software Defined Radio; Wireless Sensor Networks and RF Identification; Cross-Layer Design of Wireless Networks; Distributed Information Processing. • Systems and Architectures: Programmable and Reconfigurable DSP Architectures; Design Methodologies and CAD Tools for VLSI Signal Processing Systems; Application-Specific Integrated Circuits and Architectures; Low-Power Signal Processing Circuits and Architectures; FPGA-based Architectures; System Integration and Modeling; Systems on Chip and Networks on Chip; Bio and Nanotechnologies in Signal Processing
Paper submission: Authors should submit a PDF version of their papers of not more than six (6) pages including results, figures and references. Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission at www.sips2007.org. Expanded version of selected papers will be considered for special issues of EURASIP Journal on Applied Signal Processing (Hindawi Publishing Corporation) and The Journal of VLSI Signal Processing (Kluwer Academic Publishers). Important Dates: Paper Submission April 2, 2007 Acceptance Notification June 18, 2007 Camera Ready Paper July 20, 2007 Registration Deadline July 31, 2007 Special Sessions: SiPS 2007 will include a number of special sessions. Proposals for special sessions must include a title, rationale, session outline, contact information for the session chair, a list of authors who have agreed to present a paper in the session, and a tentative title and abstract of each paper. Proposals for special sessions should be submitted to Clark N. Taylor (taylor@ee.byu.edu) or Wen CHEN (wenchen@sjtu.edu.cn) by February 15, 2007.
