The 3rd International Symposium on Bio- and Medical Informatics and Cybernetics: BMIC 2009(http://www.ICTconfer.org/bmic). It will take place in Orlando, Florida, USA, on July 10th - 13th, 2009.

The deadlines are the following:

Submissions: January 22nd, 2009
Acceptance: March 16th, 2009
Final version: May 27th, 2009

We are emphasizing the area of Biomedical Systems which, we think, is related to your specific academic or professional area.

Submitted papers or extended abstracts will have three kinds of reviews: double-blind (by at least three reviewers), non-blind, and participative peer-to-peer reviews. Accepted papers of registered authors will be published in the printed copy and the CD versions of the Proceedings. The proceedings will also be published via web for Full Open Access.

Authors of accepted papers who registered in the conference will have access to the reviews made to their submission so they can accordingly improve the final version of their papers. Non-registered authors will not have access to the reviews of their respective submissions.

Each session programmed at the conference will have its respective VIRTUAL pre- and post- conference session. Papers can be read on-line and commented on during the 15 days previous to the face-to-face session and during the 15 days following the end of the Conference.

Awards will be granted to the best paper of those presented at each session. From these session's best papers, the best 10%-20% of the papers presented at the conference will be selected for their publication in Volume 7 of JSCI Journal (http://www.j-sci.com/Journal/SCI/). Libraries of journal author's organizations will receive complimentary subscriptions of at least one volume (6 issues).

Also, we would like to invite you to organize an invited session related to a topic of your research interest. If you are interested in organizing an invited session, please, fill out the respective form provided in the conference web page: http://www.ICTconfer.org/bmic/Organizer.asp .We will send you a password, so you can include and modify papers in your invited session.
